I started Chunky Reclaimed Furniture as a part time venture whilst working around my day job as a designer. It wasn’t long before I realised that working with reclaimed wood was where my passion lay. As the number of orders and commissions increased, I decided to leave the world of 9 – 5 office work and make this my full time occupation. Now I am able to draw upon a love of good design, interesting wood and a desire to make the world a greener place.
Chunky reclaimed furniture is a small business where the focus is on high quality individual product design and good service. Most of the items we produce are based on the items on this website, but given the nature of the wood each item will be unique. For this reason very few pieces are in stock (other than a few one-off pieces), as I prefer to custom make each item based on the customers’ requirements.
